This illustration shows one of our original characters, Mimi the shiba, as a waiter in a fictional ramen restaurant called Menya Y!S. He greets new customers with the well-known Japanese word いらっしゃいませ (irasshaimase) that translates to “welcome in!”. He is wearing a traditional maekake (apron) with the logo of the restaurant on it. The interior of the restaurant is inspired by Kodawari Ramen, that are two must-see ramen-ya in Paris. The cooks are a nod to two t-shirt designs I did for Kodawari a few years ago (one with a chicken and the other with a red sea bream)

🇫🇷 Cette illustration représente un de nos personnages originaux, Mimi le shiba, habillé en serveur d’un restaurant de ramen fictif nommé Menya Y!S (めにゃワイ！エス). Il accueille chaleureusement les clients avec le célèbre いらっしゃいませ (irasshaimase) qui se traduit tout simplement par “bienvenue”. Il porte un tablier traditionnel (maekake) comportant le logo de l’établissement. Le décor est inspiré des fabuleux restaurants Kodawari Ramen à Paris. Les cuisiniers sont d’ailleurs un clin d’oeil à deux designs de t-shirt que j’ai réalisé pour Kodawari il y a quelques années (un avec une poule et l’autre avec une daurade).
